Grammes

We created the visual identity for Grammes, a French patisserie in Amsterdam bringing a modern sensibility to traditional baking.

Founded by pastry chef Maxime Papin and Nawal Batoun, Grammes set out to merge Parisian craft with a contemporary, urban edge. Our task was to translate this ambition into a visual identity that captured both the indulgence of French patisserie and the freshness of a new neighbourhood spot.

Identity

We built the identity around the concept of urban delight. A clean logo and refined colour palette balance heritage with innovation paying homage to French baking traditions while signalling a forward-looking patisserie. Alongside the core marks, we developed a toolkit of icons, patterns and assets designed to flex seamlessly across digital and physical touchpoints.

Packaging extends the visual language through understated typography and tactile materials, creating a sense of indulgence that feels both classic and fresh. The guidelines ensure every expression, from box to bag to storefront, reflects the craft and quality at the heart of the brand.

Result

The result is a brand world that feels high-quality, modern and indulgent. From packaging to in-store moments, Grammes now has a visual language that matches the craft of its pastries. Seeing the brand thrive in our hometown and watching their croissants become local legends, has been a proud moment for our team.

Future

The identity has stood the test of time. Grammes has justifiably secured its place in Amsterdam’s food culture, proving that thoughtful design and craftsmanship endure beyond trend.
